On 7th August 2024,Discovery Day for AFS  KL–YES program, a scholarship based  program for students to study one academic year in US  was held in Maria’s Public school .It was attended by Mrs Diya Badgel, director,AFS India,Mrs Nellie Ahmed, President AFS guwahati chapter, Mrs Richa Parashar, Vice President AFS guwahati chapter . Shortlisted students from Manipur , Guwahati , Meghalaya were present.
