MARIA'S PUBLIC SCHOOL

Ziyan Amin (class 10), Devraj Dutta Hazarika (class 10), Anuva Saikia (class 12), Saqib Ahmed (class 10) and Zahabia Hussain (class 10) have successfully completed the Bronze level of the International Award for Young People which is a global platform designed to encourage young people to develop skills, physical fitness and community service.

With the introduction of the IAYP Award Programme by Maria’s Public School in the year 2013 and being the YES centre (Youth Engaging Society), there has been no stopping to help build forthcoming leaders in the school. The International Award Programme is an award programme with the motto “To invest in our youth connections for a better tomorrow.” The Award concept is one of individual challenge. It presents to young person a balanced, non-competitive programme of voluntary activities which encourage personal discovery and growth, self-reliance, perseverance and responsibility to themselves and service to their community.
