It was a historic event in Assam’s educational and entrepreneurial journey when the Entrepreneurship Summit 2025 was hosted at Maria’s Public School, Guwahati from April 28 to May 2, 2025.
This landmark event marked Assam’s first flagship entrepreneurship summit for students, organized in collaboration with Consat Orahi, a leading multinational company, in partnership with Google for Education, under the banner of their visionary program, “1 Million Founders.” This program is aligned with the Government of India’s Viksit Bharat 2047 initiative, with a bold mission to nurture 1 million student entrepreneurs by the year 2047—transforming young minds into job creators of tomorrow.
Maria’s Public School officially launched its first student-led start-up—the Tel Group (Tech for Easy Life Rockets)—seed-funded by the 1 Million Founders initiative on May 2, 2025. This was a moment of immense pride for not just our school, but for the entire state of Assam.
Over a five-day immersive learning experience, global leaders and corporate experts from the 1 Million Founders initiative have mentored the Marian students in entrepreneurial life skills, offering hands-on exposure to real work ecosystems—from ideation to execution, from classroom to boardroom.
The Entrepreneurship Summit 2025 culminated in a milestone celebration on May 2, 2025 at Maria’s Public School. Students pitched their start-up ideas, got seed-funded, and interacted with Company thought leaders, Founder Managing Trustee of Maria’s Public School and innovators. The final day featured a Shark Tank-style pitch session in front of guest investors and experts.
