With immense pride and pleasure we would like to inform that Mrs Nellie Ahmed, the Founder and Managing Trustee of Maria’s Public School has been selected to represent the State of Assam and has been offered the prestigious position of the ‘State President’ for
the WICCI Assam Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) Council.
The news was shared recently by the esteemed office of Ms. Paramjeet Kaur Dhillon, the National President of Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) Council, WICCI.
Every WICCI council is constituted by a council President with VP and minimum 20 council members from the related region/sector. In addition to council endeavours and networking, all councils provide recommendations via regular representations to relevant government authorities and institutions toward mitigating our many challenges connected to sustainability facilitating the ease of doing business and empowering ‘women-owned businesses’ to become more competitive and competent.

and width of knowledge and leadership from all strata of economy and society forming the basis of policy changes at the top levels of decision-making as well as mindset and societal transformation at the grassroots.
Mrs Ahmed would lead the vision and mission of the WICCI Assam Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) Council in North-East India.
