MARIA'S PUBLIC SCHOOL

Students Arshia Lama (Class 8B), Sahista Kashyap (Class 8B), Shweta Shyam (Class 8B) and Anwesha Bora (Class 12 – Arts) participated in the WICCI programme, ‘Friendly AI – A Global Stem Initiative’ recently with activities like survey, signing a petition, poster making, poem writing with “AI” can, message writing, dance by all the students on an AI generated song about environment, minecraft world about the help of AI, creating a newsletter, designing of an Illustrated Poster to showcase the use of AI in medical science and disaster management.

The project helped the students to explore, research and find out facts about AI and its utility in various spheres. It enhanced their knowledge as well as their skills while working on their presentations. It also enabled students in gaining confidence as they presented their projects online where they were fortunate to

receive feedback from eminent personalities and most importantly, acknowledgement for their work. The students were mentored by Dr. Biswajit De, Creative Director and Design Faculty and Mrs. Sushmita Chakraborty, Senior Teacher, Dept. of Science.
