Maria’s Public School bade a tearful adieu to the departed soul, the voice of the masses, the iconic singer and artiste par excellence, Zubeen Garg today. The Vice Principal and a host of teachers, the staff and sub-staff assembled at the school premises to pay homage to the human being who gave voice to the emotions of people in Assam. The Founder and Managing Trustee Mrs Nellie Ahmed and the Principal Mausumi Mahanta who are away at Dubai to attend the 57th Round Square International Conference have said, “May he rest in melody”, “There will never be another Zubeen” while sending their deepest condolences.

Zubeen Garg may have breathed his last but he continues to live in our hearts, in our thoughts and emotions.
