The winter chill bit hard on everyone. But the warmth of excitement in the corridors, assembly area, playgrounds, primary hall held every Marian soul in high spirits. And why not? It’s the day all awaited for – the ‘Sakura Fest 2026’ – the second edition of Maria’s Flagship fundraiser, a student-led Round Square and AFS initiative which contributes towards a good cause. All funds raised are used for a better and meaningful purpose, especially to support the neighbourhood orphanage which is a sustainable initiative taken up by our school. So true to the belief – if you do good unto others, your heart feels the warmth – Marians geared up for a cause once again on this chilly day of January 7, 2026, starting off the new year’s activities with commitment to the society and fulfilling ‘experiential learning’.
The exhilaration was quite evident in the words of the Founder and Managing Trustee Mrs Nellie Ahmed when she declared the Fest open, wishing everyone for a successful event recalling last year’s fest moments and how it helped to donate a computer to Jibanalaya, the orphanage.
From game stalls, craft and flower stalls, photo booths, cosplay, open mic, nail art, caricatures to delightful food stalls — students of Classes IV–XII turned the campus into a vibrant carnival of goodwill at Sakura Fest 2026.
Doing good never goes out of season – reaffirmed once again.
