MARIA'S PUBLIC SCHOOL

The second edition of Champion’s Trophy Under 19 Basketball Tournament was organised by Maria’s Public School from November 15 to 17, 2024 with a total of 18 teams participating in the event. The opening ceremony was graced by Joint Secretaries of Assam Basketball Association Mr Arupjyoti Choudhury and Mr Pradip Mazumdar along with Mrs Nellie Ahmed, Founder and Managing Trustee, Maria’s Public School, Principal Mausumi Mahanta, Vice Principal Mr Anjan Gogoi and a host of teachers and students.

While the team of St. Francis De Sales, Narengi emerged as the Champion, KV Narengi and KV Maligaon became the first and second runners-up respectively in the Boys category.

In the Girls category KV, Narengi lifted the Champions Trophy while Don Bosco, Sonaighuli and SFS Narengi became the first and second runners-up respectively.

Jun Tamuli(SFS Narengi) and Sneha Rai (KV, Narengi) were adjudged as the Best Players of the tournament in Boys and Girls categories.
