The teachers of Maria’s Public School attended a special enrichment workshop, ‘Pedagogical Approach’ in Classrooms in sync with NEP 2020, on October 1 and 3, 2021 at the school premises. The workshop was conducted by Nisha Bhakar, and it was interactive and engaging. Ms. Bhakar is an award-winning educationist and Teacher Trainer and with her experience as a Principal in many reputed schools, the takeaways have been substantial.
In another session held simultaneously with the workshop, Mr Ravi Santlani, Founder and CEO of ScooNews and Mr Vikramjit Singh Rooprai, Author and Heritage Activist met the senior teachers. The interactive session saw sharing of experience and ideas about new approaches to teaching and learning with an aim for holistic development of a child to grow into a confident and competent young adult. Both the events were attended enthusiastically by the Founder and Managing Trustee of MPS, Mrs Nellie Ahmed, Principal Mausumi Mahanta, Vice Principal Mr Anjan Gogoi and Academic Director Shahnaaz Rahman.
