Nayeem wins Gold and Silver

The Assam Team comprising Nayeem Hussain of Class 10, MPS and Prapti Baruah of DPS, Guwahati created history by winning the U 16 Girls Doubles Championship at the Indian Pickle Ball Nationals held from November 13 to 16, 2025 at Bengaluru. Nayeem also cracked the Silver Medal in the Girls Under 16 Category. Nayeem’s was the first Medal of Assam on the first day of the Tournament.

Ameya secures first position, to represent state at the Nationals

Ameya Gupta of Class 6 has secured the first position in the Under 11 Girls Category at the 3rd All Assam Invitational Open Rapid Chess Tournament 2025, held at Nagaon on November 16. She received a certificate, trophy and a cash prize of Rs1500.

She has also been selected to represent Assam in the U 17 category at the SGFI Nationals to be held in Agartala, later this month.
