MAH Literary Awards Competitions organised on August 21 and 22
The inter school competitions of the 24th MAH Literary Awards came to an end on August 22 with a participation of 19 schools from in and around the city. It was encouraging to see students taking part in various literary events namely, Elocution or Speech Craft, On the Spot Poem Writing, Creative Writing in English, Assamese, Hindi, and Sanskrit, haiku writing, Street Play, Art through Recitation and Debate.
The prizes will be distributed at the Mofizuddin Ahmed Hazarika Literary Awards Ceremony on August 31, 2024, the 154th birth anniversary of the Gyanmalini Kobi at NEDFi Auditorium, G.S.Road, Dispur.
On the 30th of August, the Mofizuddin Ahmed Hazarika Memorial Kavya Award will be conferred on renowned poet Nilim Kumar at Guwahati Press Club.
The buzz surrounding the event with enthusiastic participation has been incredible, with additional schools joining the celebration of young literary talents this year.
