The students and teachers of Classes 4 and 5 and the differently abled children of Maria’s Public School celebrated pre Rongali Bihu today with much fervour and gaiety in a special assembly attended by the Founder and Managing Trustee Mrs Nellie Ahmed Tanweer, a special guest Ms Racquel Shroff, CEO, Global Education Solutions, Australia and Chairperson, Indian Career Education and Development Council, Principal Ms Mausumi Mahanta, Academic Director Mrs Shahnaaz Rahman among others. While Mrs Ahmed spoke on the significance of the celebration of the spring festival, Ms Shroff expressed her happiness for being able to take part in the celebration and to know about the culture of the region.
