MARIA'S PUBLIC SCHOOL

Driven by her constant endeavours to empower women of all strata, Mrs Nellie Ahmed, the Founder and Managing Trustee of Maria’s Public School encouraged ten women sub-staff of Maria’s Public School and Maria Montessori House of Children, Guwahati to participate in a two-day training programme on making reusable and washable cotton sanitary pad at Parijat Academy, Guwahati recently. We extend our gratitude to Mr Uttam Teron and Mrs Aimoni Tumung for the programme. We were also glad to find our alumni Ms Mehtaj Zaman Ahmed amongst us in the endeavour.

The Founder and Managing Trustee hopes to take up more such projects to help women become self reliant and uplift their position in the society.
