Arnav Kumar Bhuyan, a student of Class XI (Science), won Double Crown claiming Boy’s U/16 Singles and Boy’s U/18 Doubles titles at the AITA National Ranking Championship Series Tennis Tournament held at Jaipur, Rajasthan on 17th August 2026. In his Singles U/16 Championship Clash held on August 21 top seeded Arnav defeated Rajasthan’s 4th seed Arjun Meena in straight Sets 6-1, 6-0, who outwitted the 2nd seed in the Semifinal clash. Displaying an excellent all-round game, Arnav claimed the Championship Title without dropping a set across 5 matches.
Partnering with the Second seed, Vanshraj (UP), the duo stunned 2nd Seed, Ganik Beniwal and Preyansh Tanwar (Rajasthan) in the Boy’s Doubles Final Clash. In the nail-biting closely contested ultimate encounter (Super Tiebreak), the duo recorded a thrilling comeback win against the second seed, clinching the Title with a tight scoreline of 5-7, 6-3, 11-9.
Arnav has achieved incredible feat of securing Top Rank in the State, Under 16 & 18 Category as well as Rank 25 in National Level in the Under 16 Category.
Arnav also lifted Runner-up Trophy in the Boy’s Under 18 Doubles Category in AITA Championship Series Tennis Tournament held at ALL Saints Tennis Academy Ajmer, Rajasthan on August 24 to 28, 2026.
