Maria’s Public School admission process is in sync with RTE ACT 2009.
25% of the seats available are reserved for students as per section 12 of the RTE act 2009.Registration Procedures and Rules
- Registration forms are to be filled in and submitted to the School Office along with the registration fee of Rs.100/- only and a recent colour passport photograph before the end of the registration period.
- Incomplete or illegible Registration Forms will not be processed.
- Dates for test / interviews will be given at the time of registration.
- Registration Fee is not refundable.
Admission Procedures
- Admission to all classes is subject to vacancies and granted on the basis of an Entrance Test and interview. Only those candidates who clear the written test will be called for interview. Interviews of both parent and child is conducted by a panel which includes the Principal / Headmistress / Supervisors etc.
Admission Formalities
- Successful candidates whose names are included in the list must pay the fees by the dates indicated on the list of the declared results displayed on the School Notice Board, otherwise admission will stand cancelled.
- Parents are requested to carefully fill and submit the Admission Form, Transportation Form (where applicable) and Medical Form, at the time of payment of fees. These forms can be downloaded from this site. One form is to be used per child.
- Date of birth of the child is required to be supported by the birth certificate in original issued by the Municipal Corporation / Local bodies as applicable along with a certified Photostat copy there of. An affidavit or any other evidence is not acceptable in support of birth certificate. It is to be attached with the Admission Form.
- For Class II upwards, a Transfer Certificate from a recognized institution must be submitted along with the Admission Form.
- The admission card will be issued to parents only after all four forms are duly filled and admission formalities are completed.
- Parents are to report to the reception counter on the dates specified in the joining instructions, along with the admission card. The ward will not be allowed to attend classes if the admission card is not produced.
- Your ward has to report in complete School Uniform, along with books and stationery as prescribed by the school. (Uniform, books and stationery are available at the school book shop).
Non-refund of Fee
- All fees once paid are not refundable for any reason whatsever.
Withdrawal Rules
- Application for withdrawal is to be made on our prescribed proforma available in the School Office.
- A one month notice period is required for withdrawal.
- Clearance must be obtained from the laboratory and library incharge before applying for withdrawal.
- Transfer Certificate will be issued after one week from the date of withdrawal.
Bus Rules
- Existing Routes will continue to ply. Change in routes and bus stops will not be entertained during the session.
- It will be the sole responsibility of the parents to escort the pupil to and from the fixed bus stops. The bus facility extended to parents is at their own risk and responsibility.
Right of Alteration / Modification
- Management reserves its right to modify, alter and / or include any other terms and conditions that may be deemed fit in the interest of the Institution.
- M.P.S. reserves its right to change the Fee Structure.
