zahra shaikh, a student of class 12 (science) of maria’s public school has achieved the first position in read india celebration 2020 in the grade 11-12th category. students from more than 100 schools from 25 states and cities across india and around the world including new zealand, dubai, usa and canada had participated in the competition. out of the 16 finalists three were chosen as winners in each of the three categories consisting of grade 5-7, grade 8-10 and grade 11-12. the esteemed panel of judges comprised ms uttara singh, director, shriram millennium schools, delhi, dr ramancharla pradeep kumar, registrar & professor, iit, hyderabad and raj panishetty, svp, sr. technology leader for a financial organisation, new york. the grand finale took place on september 28, 2020.
