MARIA'S PUBLIC SCHOOL

Maria’s Public School, Guwahati, organised enriching workshops on “Lesson Design and Arousing Curiosity in Children” and “The Art of Questions and asking questions” on October 3, 2026, conducted by Ms Sapna Sukul, Founder of Edustart Solutions, CBSE Trainer, and certified POCSO and POSH Trainer, as well as a British Council Ambassador.

The session emphasised the importance of child-centred lesson planning that nurtures curiosity, creativity, critical thinking, and a lifelong love for learning. Through engaging questions, stories, hands-on activities, collaborative learning, and real-life connections, teachers explored innovative ways to make classroom experiences meaningful and enjoyable.

Graced by the presence of Founder and Managing Trustee Ms Nellie Ahmed, Principal Ms Mausumi Mahanta, Vice Principal Mr Anjan Gogoi, Primary Headmistress Ms Yasmin Hussain, Maria Montessori House of Children Executive Head Ms Ditty Ahmed and In-charge Ms Sreejata Majumdar, the workshop witnessed enthusiastic participation from the primary and MMHC teachers.

The session reinforced the vital role of teachers as facilitators who inspire children to question, explore, experiment, and discover. It was a valuable learning experience that encouraged teachers to create vibrant classrooms where curiosity sparks discovery and learning becomes a joyful journey.
