MARIA'S PUBLIC SCHOOL

The team of Maria’s Public School received the Best School Award at Raktabh Dutta Choudhury Memorial Inter School Chess Tournament 2026 held from March 21 to 24, 2026 organized by Mind Sports Foundation at Assam Jatiya Bidyalaya, Noonmati, Guwahati. Among the prize winners, Tanishq Thakuria of Class 9 got 1st position in Rapid Queen Category and 5th position in Classical Queen category while Shuvang Pran Kashyap, also from Class 9 got 4th position in Queen group. The Marian team comprised Tanishq Thakuria, Shuvang Pran Kashyap, Reyaan Nobis, Riddhiman Bhuyan, Pradyumna C Kataki, Aayansh Das, Anish Goswami, Adit Gupta, Tanmay Rajbongshi, Ameya Gupta, Priyanuj Das and Anshul Das.
