SCHOLASTIC ASPECTS

For students from class VI to X the school’s academic calendar will be divided into two terms, both the ‘formative’ and ‘summative’ forms of testing methods will be used.

Under the ‘formative’ scheme assessments will be conducted continuously. The tests may be written or oral. Evaluation will also be based on assignments, project works, experiments, quizzers, debates and discussions.

Two ‘summative’ assessments will be conducted, one just before the Puja or Autumn Break and one in February-March. The students will be tested on the syllabus covered in that term and the test will be a written one.

  • 1st Term  : April, 2015 to September, 2015
  • 2nd Term : October, 2015 to March, 2015
  • Vacation   : Summer and Winter
