Computer Education
Our aim is to teach students how to use computers to improve the quality of their lives. The syllabus includes word processor, managing databases, spread sheets modelling, graphics and desktop publishing. The school is well equipped with Pentium machines with multimedia. The internet has been introduced to provide students the experience of using the latest technology of the information age. There are two Computer Labs at the moment of which one is for the Senior Secondary.
Graphics, Animation & Media Studio
The school has a fully equipped Graphic, Media & Animation Studio to cater to the needs of ‘New Generation curriculum’ which are introduced into the regular syllabus. Equipped with state of the art Editing Suites, Audio-Video Recording facilities, Light Boxes for Animation & Illustration and Projection Systems the Studio named “Brains”, lets the students unleash their creativity and innate talents and express their design ideas. The studio also enables teachers and students to carry out audio and video conferencing and is connected via WiFi.
Project “CHILD”
The school has been associated with the Project Child for five years. The programme provides comprehensive medical coverage which emergency, annual eye checkup along with ambulance facilities if need be.
Science Lab
The three well-equipped science laboratories cater to the needs of the students. The laboratories are well stocked with all the necessary tools and equipments.
Trips & Excursion
Maria’s believes in Learning beyond the Classroom. Fulfilling the ideology the school arranges trips and excursions inside the state as well as outside every year. Overseas trips are also arranged on a regular basis. Through these trips the students not only learn about various places but also acquire great knowledge about life itself.
